Thanks 350. I will check out 1 and 3! I have read 'Way of the Turtle' and was dissapointed with it. I think I was expecting more of a 'fly-on-the-wall' expose of the Richard Dennis and his experiment. Instead, the book was much more around systems development etc, which, don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in. It's just the title was perhaps a little missleading. Maybe I'll re-visit it with a different mindset.

A good list AtticMac - there are a few I've not looked at, but I may have to now! For me though, I would have to add the following very near the top of my trading book list - especially if you are into system development and backtesting:

1. The New Trading Systems and Methods, 4th Edition
2. Way of the Turtle
3. Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns, 2nd Edition

Over the years, I've found the Kaufman(1) book to be the one I'd go back to first when looking for trading ideas and other inspiration. If you value chart patterns - as I do, then the Bulkowski(3) book is a must for all the stats you get.

Cheers,
Jez - a.k.a. 350Trader
